Here glad to share the cultures of this festival and how we celebate it. 

The Dragon Boat Festival is traditionally celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month on the lunar calendar, and is therefore often called "Double Fifth Festival". In Chinese, the holiday is called Duan Wu Jie. The Dragon Boat Festival ("Duan Wu Jie" in Chinese) is traditionally celebrated on the 5th of the fifth month(lunarcalendar), therefore people ofen called it "Double Fifth Festival". Also "Duan Wu Jie" is to commermorate the death of Chinese famous scholar -statesman Qu Yuan, who drowned himself in the Miluo River because Framed by others.

1. Tzung tzu.("Zong Zi" in Chinese). 
Tzung tzu, a very popular food during Dragon Boat Festival,consists of rice dumplings with meat, peaut, egg yolk, or other fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves. There is a legend that during the festival, people scattering Zong Zi across the Miluo river  to prevent Qu Yuan from devoured by fishes,because the fish's teeth will be sticked after eat Zong Zi.

2.Dragon Boat Race 
The exciting activity of  Dragon Boat festival is the dragons boat race. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats tooth and nail  along with  the rhyhm of beating drums attepts to resue Qu Yuan from the river.
